Volunteers are an essential part of Brown Ladies Legacies. The Living Legacy Garden is built and sustained through shared care, shared effort, and shared purpose. When you volunteer, you are not just helping maintain a space, you are helping create an environment where healing, learning, and connection can happen.

No prior gardening or program experience is required—just a willingness to show up and contribute.
Garden Support Team
Assist with planting, weeding, harvesting, and maintaining the Healing Harvest Beds, Orchard, and surrounding spaces.
Family & Community Support
Support family days, youth activities, and guided experiences that bring people together in the garden.
Event Support Team
Help prepare and support community events, including setup, greeting guests, and assisting with program flow.
Stewardship & Care Team
Assist with tools, maintenance, organization, and keeping spaces ready for daily and seasonal use.
